User Provisioning with System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM)

Create Users and Application Assignment​

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal and go to Users > New User.

  2. Enter the user principal name and display name, then click Next: Properties.

  3. Enter the first name, last name, and email address. The remaining fields are optional.

  4. Click Create.

  5. Navigate to Enterprise Applications > [Your Application] > Users and Groups > Add user/group.

  6. Select User(s) > Select > Assign. A success message will appear.

Automatic Provisioning​

After assigning the application, automatic provisioning occurs every 40 minutes.

To view detailed information such as last cycle time, configuration status, and other provisioning details, go to Provisioning > Overview.

Provision on Demand​

You can also use the Provision on Demand feature to provision users and groups immediately:

  1. Go to Enterprise Applications > [Your Application] > Provisioning > Provision on Demand.

  2. Search for the user to provision.

  3. Select the user and click Provision.

  4. Verify that the user is present in Flexera One:

    a. Sign in to Flexera One.

    b. Go to Administration > User Management.

    c. Search for the user created in Microsoft Entra ID and verify that the user is present.
